The Atelier
Neytara began as a single linen shirt, sewn in a Lisbon flat in 2019. Today we work with twenty-three workshops across nine countries — but the question remains the same: who made this, and how were they treated?

N°02 — The Promise
I.
On every product page, you will find the workshop, the maker, and the region. We work in the open.
II.
We pay above the regional living wage — typically 1.5 to 3× the local minimum — and publish it.
III.
Linen from Belgium and Portugal. Wool from Morocco's High Atlas. Clay from Oaxaca. We can tell you the field, the flock, the seam.
IV.
Madder, indigo, weld, walnut, pomegranate. No synthetic colour ever touches our textiles.
V.
Four collections a year. Often fewer than 80 of any one piece. When they're gone, they're gone.
"An object made slowly, by a hand that is paid honestly, holds something a machine can never give it. Call it spirit. Call it soul. We call it the fifth origin."
